The 2018 NBA draft came and went without LiAngelo Ball getting picked by any team, let alone Lonzo Ball's Los Angeles Lakers. For LaVar Ball, Gelo going undrafted doesn't change his second son's pro basketball trajectory, since the subsequent step (i.e. the Summer League) is the same.
"What's next for him is to play in the Summer League," the Big Baller Brand CEO said at the Junior Basketball Association's opening night on Thursday. "Whether you drafted or not, you got to produce in the Summer League."
